For cutting the Flexible PU Foam Blocks our Version of The Circular Cutting Machine proves to be a very accurate, reliable and useful means. The PU Foam Blocks can be cut in to desired thickness ranging from mattresses (100mm to 200mm) to thin sheets as low as 1.5mm. These machines are fully automatic and are available in different models.

A rotary table consisting of Foam Blocks is driven by an AC motor that has got variable speed. After each revolution the slitting section which is driven by an electric motor through a transmission belt gets lower to the preset thickness automatically. This helps in obtaining a stack of sheets of desired thickness.

An endless band saw blade executes the cutting which runs on four dynamically balanced wheels results resulting in a smooth and finished cut.

These machines also help in splitting the bigger blocks to desired sizes. Sheets having a thickness of 25mm and above can be cut with the help of these machines. The cutting accuracy of these machines is +/-2mm.

To convert PU Foam blocks in to sheets our version of the Horizontal Cutting Machines proves to be a very easy and reliable source. The range of these sheets is from 2.5mm to 200mm. These machines are PLC controlled, fully automatic and can be started from any point. This feature allows starting the operation from any position by pressing a single button. An endless band knife executes the cutting that runs on four dynamically balanced wheels to give a smooth cutting surface. In order to cut the Foam the table moves to and fro and it do's so in a linear motion. After the cut the cutting section lifts up a little to allow obstruction free reverse movement of the table.

GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS

* Construction : The cutting unit is welded steel construction. The table    is constructed from the steel pipe and it slides over track lines which in    turn are covered with hardened steel. The top of the table is made of    wooden boards and is coated with a special friction material.

The edge rounding machine is used for flexible PU foam continuous blade cut shapes. It's finished product is of high quality with a smooth cutting surface. Speed wise it's very fast and produces about 700 to 1000 pillows per 8 hrs shift. It's available in sizes varying from 75 mm to 125 mm which is changeable. Space required is 2.5 m X 1.5 m. Power required is 1.25 HP.
