STANDARD EQUIPMENT:

FILLING: Geared Pumps are used to transfer POLYOL, TDI and MECL. These Pumps are of good quality.

METERING: Suitable capacity geared pumps are used to meter all the chemicals except MECL. MECL is metered with the help of Air Pressure. Maximum POLYOL Pump is 130 kg/min and all other pumps shall have capacities suited to the above POLYOL output for making foam from 10 to 40 density.
FLOW METERS:Rota meters are used to calibrate TDI, MECL and Air while other are calibrated with the help of RPM Meters.
MIXING HEAD: It is a high-speed pin type stirrer with 25 HP. Three different pulleys are provided in the A.C. motor for three different speeds. All the streams are fitted on to the mixing head via 3 way valves having pneumatic controls. There is also a provision for adding two streams of POLYOL and 3 streams for additional catalyst.
FALL PLATE: It is designed in to 4 sections which are adjustable in height in relation to one another, manually with the help of a wheel handle. The plate is 5 Meters in length.
TROUGH: One trough is provided.
CONVEYOR: Strong steel frames are used to make the conveyor with 100 mm of mild steel slates of roller chains that are driven by 3 HP variable speed drive.
VENTILATION TUNNEL: A steel pipe covered with 12 mm ply-board is used to make the Ventilation Tunnel. It's height from the conveyor is 1.8 m (approx.). It consists of 6 sections with 3 inspection windows (on each side). Tunnel's width is fixed between 1350 mm to 2000 mm. Two powerful suction fans are provided in the tunnel to remove the fumes. The width of the tunnel should be specified at the time of placing the order.
ROLLER CONVEYOR: Along with the slate conveyor a 3 meter long roller conveyor is also provided.
PAPER FEEDING: Underneath the conveyor there is a bottom paper feeding support and the side papers are fed from the vertical support located on both sides of the tunnel. With the presence of re-winders driven by D.C. drives papers are automatically re-winded at the end of the tunnel.
ELECTRICAL CONTROL PANEL: For the ease of operations Electrical and Pneumatic controls are placed side by side to one another. All the motors have Overload relays and start and stop push buttons are also there along with the indication lights.
OPTIONAL EXTRA : For producing Foam with Filter extra stream of POLYOL is provided. For greater variety of convenience extra stream of color is provided. System for online change of density in the permissible range.

A continuous slab of flat top flexible PU foam is produced by the Max Foam Plant. At the end of the conveyor a block cut-off machine is available to cut the blocks of desired length.

These machines are best suited for the companies having a high production rate.

To produce flexible PU foam blocks our version of The Batch Foam Machines proves to be a very reliable and useful medium. These machines produce one block at a time. These machines are quite economical from the money point of view and are best suited for the factories having a relatively low production.
PROCESS
First of all, pre weighed water and TDI are poured in to their respective tanks that are located just above the main mixing vessels.
Now he valves containing TDI + Water mixture are opened with the help of the control panel. Once this mixture (TDI + Water) is poured in to the mixing vessel, Speed 2 is switched ON. The machine then mixes the chemicals and releases them in to the mold. The mold contains an open window that is to be closed manually. After 5 to 10 minutes the block may be de-molded.

Material Discharge: Material gets discharged from the bottom which in turn is controlled by a pneumatic cylinder.
Control Panel: For operating the two mixers motors, Pump and Valve for TDI, the Control Panel is there which constitutes of all the push buttons necessary for operating the above. A preset counter is there for metering of TDI and two timers are also provided for the two mixer motors.
